Revive, rejuvenate and re-invent is how Vinit Karnik - Business Head, ESP Properties, spends his time away from work. The quest to rejuvenate takes him on long runs and when he can find the time, some unplanned road trips with family. His ideal of relaxing is switching off all gadgets and spending time with loved ones. Karnik proudly says that he can make six different varieties of Maggi! On a typical weekend, you will find me...
Unplugged from daily work to introspect, think deeply, and spend much-needed time with family. Schedule permitting, I also hit the road for unplanned trips and go for long runs.

My idea of relaxing is...
Running, a road trip with my family or catching up on movies. Relaxing would mean plugging out, being away from tech and spending more me-time.

One vice I cannot do without...
Speaking my heart out! I am brutally honest and that's both a boon and a bane. Another vice is food, hence I took to running as good food and travel are my guilty indulgences.

I love a staycation/adventure...
My idea of travel is to have unconventional experiences in conventional places like staying in a chalet in the countryside instead of a commercial touristy hub. My sense of adventure is to explore unknown places, cuisines, and connecting with people. The bucket list is long and I do hope to cover a lot in this lifetime!
I confess I am ...
fussy about my food, work, and standards!

I spend me-time on...
Reading. There is nothing quite as relaxing as being immersed in good literature.
Traveling - therapeutic and much needed to unwind. Running - plug in your music and take off! Nothing beats the adrenaline and energy rush!

The last show I binge watched...
The news… That's a show nowadays anyway!


I can make a mean ...
Maggi... Six ways! I can also rustle up a variety of egg dishes, Indian spread and an occasional barbecue.

A skill I want to learn this year...

I’m keen to learn a new language. I am convincing my daughter to learn with me so that I also get more time with her.

My next vacation/adventure will be...
I do hope to catch one of the expeditions to Antartica next year.
