Cannes Lions 2018: Here's what's happening on Day 1

On Day 1 of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity on Monday, shortlists for five categories will be announced. Watch out for this space for updates on which entries from Indian agencies make it to the Outdoor, Mobile, Design, Radio&Audio and Print&Publishing Lions shortlists.

Among the various sessions that we at exchange4media are looking forward to on Monday are: David Droga’s talk titled ‘I'm Not Sure I'm Right but Who is?’; and a chat between Jeff Goodby, Co-Founder and Co-Chairman of Goodby Silverstein & Partners and Michael Wolff, Author of Fire & Fury about evolving role of journalism in the age of social media and more. Also, Creative Lead, Google, Umma Saini will take the stage and talk about how a sudden face-off with death changed her as a creative person in a session titled ‘Still I Rise: Discovering Depths Of Creativity In The Unexpected.’

The day will end with an award ceremony to recognise extraordinary work in the Pharma and Health & Wellness categories. The Lions Health Grand Prix for Good, Young Lions Health Award, Healthcare Agency of the Year and Healthcare Network of the Year will also be announced on Monday night.

Indian agencies TBWA, DDB Mudra, JWT India, McCann Health, and Grey have 13 shortlists in the two categories. We wish them all the very best!
