Following a multi-agency pitch, Baskin Robbins, the ice cream brand has appointed Euro RSCG India to handle its creative business. The business will be serviced out of Euro RSCG Mumbai branch office. The other agencies that had participated in the pitch included the incumbent agency- Thought Blurb and Rediffusion Y&R.

Tata Motors has roped in Percept Out of Home to carry out its three-month long visibility campaign for brands Tata Indigo and Tata Indica. The campaign, which kickstarted on September 8, 2010 across the four metros of Hyderabad, Kolkata, Delhi and Ahmedabad, will culminate on December 23, 2010.

Ogilvy India emerged the clear winner, bagging 14 metals, totaling a tally of 145 points. Lowe Lintas and Mudra followed with total tallies of 90 and 75 points, respectively. DraftFCB Ulka took home the Grand Effie for its work on Tata Docomo.

The recent introduction of ASCI’s guidelines for the education sector seems to have made an impact among the masses as the number of complaints against education institutions’ ads have gone up. Of the total 12 complaints upheld by ASCI in July and August, six were against ads of educational institutes and the rest were from FMCG, travel, realty and appliances companies.
