Shethia, with his expertise particularly in the area of branding as a discipline within the experiential methodology, is expected to add real value for the Forum's members worldwide. The Forum is affiliated with the International Experiential Marketing Association, a professional organisation that advances experiential marketing. The Forum has more than 5,000 members from around the globe, and currently is translated into 11 languages.
McCann Erickson has appointed Niranjan Kaushik as Creative Director to partner with Akshay Kapnadak in the same position. Kaushik is currently serving his notice period at Contract, where he has been Senior Creative Director. At McCann, Kaushik will work on key brands such as Barclays Bank, Parachute and Lee Cooper. Kaushik has been part of the industry for more than a decade now. A chemistry graduate, he started off as a feature writer with one of the Indian Express Group's magazines. In 1997, he joined Ogilvy & Mather and then later he moved to Batey Singapore in 2001. From Batey he moved to LHM Singapore as Associate Creative Director. He returned to India in 2004 and joined Contract. At Contract, he had handled clients like HSBC Premium, Shopper's Stop, DNA, Walt Disney, Asian Paints and other brands.
Ullas Chopra has joined Capital Advertising Delhi as Executive Creative Director. He moves from Mudra Delhi, where he was working in the same capacity. Chopra began his career in advertising with Mudra Ahmedabad as a trainee. He later joined Rediffusion DYR Delhi, and Lowe Delhi, where he was Creative Director. Chopra joined Mudra Bangalore as Creative Director in 1998. In 2000, he moved out of advertising and joined Netacross as Chief Executive Officer. Later on, he joined Lowe Delhi as Creative Director for a second stint with the agency. Interestingly, Chopra was a medical representative before venturing into advertising.
