Suma Nair has quit Star India where she was Senior Vice- President- Marketing Head. A source close to the development has confirmed the news to exchange4media.
At Star Plus, she was the head of marketing, responsible for formulating and directing the overall brand and communication strategy for the channel.
July 20 was her last day in the organisation. Nair joined Star India in November 2012 as Assistant Vice President Marketing. Prior joining to Star India, Nair was working with Sony Entertainment Television as AVP Marketing in 2006. She was responsible for launch and sustenance of TV shows with the objective of achieving the reach and group targets.
We reached out to Star India to get an official comment but didnât get any response till the time of filing this story.
