WPP leases 300,000 sqft property for new Mumbai offices
The development is in accordance with WPP strategy of establishing campuses in key cities in key markets with an aim to consolidate its businesses

Advertising giant, WPP has leased a 300,000 sqft property from K Raheja Corp for nine years for its new Mumbai offices, according to media reports. The property is located in the ORB complex near Mumbai airport.
The development is in accordance with WPP strategy of establishing campuses in key cities in important markets, with an aim to consolidate its businesses, including those of its bigger group companies Group M, IMRB and O&M. It is believed that the majority of WPP's Mumbai business will be handled from the new office. Currently, WPP Group has its offices located in Oberoi Commerz in Goregaon and in Lower Parel’s Peninsula corporate park but will be vacating these to move to the new premises.
It has also been reported that apart from its new location, WPP will soon be signing a similar lease for its Gurgaon office.
In India, WPP Group employs close to 20,000 people across Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, and Hyderabad, as well as in other Indian cities.
