Lokmat Media’s Vice President - Brand & Communications, Shalini Gupta, has called it quits to join Inox Leisure as Vice President - Brand & Communication (Marketing), according to media reports.
Gupta worked with Lokmat Media since May 2016 looking after the group’s communication and marketing function.
Prior to Lokmat, Gupta worked with Reliance Broadcast Network and held multiple positions at the company. She worked as Chief Marketing Officer, she managed TV channels BIG MAGIC and BIG MAGIC GANGA.
Gupta has over 19 years of experience across Corporate Communication, Brand management and Marketing roles. She has also worked with Loop Mobile India, Parle Agro, Bharti Airtel, and Grey Group in the past.

Veteran journalist Punya Prasun Bajpai, who joined Surya Samachar as its Editor-in-Chief recently, will be stepping down from his role.
Highly placed sources have confirmed this development and said that March 31 would be Bajpai’s last day in office.
Prior to this role, Bajpai was associated with ABP News where he hosted the show ‘Masterstroke’. Bajpai has also served stints at Aaj Tak, Jansatta, Sunday Observer, Sunday Mail, Lokmat, Zee News and NDTV.
