Addressing a group of journalists, head and the creative director, Balaji Telefilms, Ekta Kapoor said, TRPs controversy had no impact whatsoever on the company. “The television channels and advertisers continue to remain with us and are convinced on our ability to deliver,” she added.

According to her, the level of incentives offered to her by the television channels continues to be as it was.

Balaji Telefilms CEO Sanjay Dosi said the rating system will have to possess high levels of credibility and integrity. “The company will continue to accept the existing system of television ratings,” he added.

Talking about the future plans, Ms Kapoor said there will be new shows launched on Sony and Star Plus. “Our new shows will be aired during prime time on Sony and Star Plus,” she said. This includes two shows on Sony and one on Star Plus. “We are also looking at the weekend slot to produce one hour shows to be aired on these channels,” added Ms Kapoor.
