ZenithOptimedia signed as media AoR for INX Media & INX News

INX Media and INX News, headed by Indrani Mukerjea, have appointed ZenithOptimedia for all media planning and buying activities for their Hindi general entertainment channel ‘9X’, Hindi Music channel ‘9XM’, and English News channel ‘News X’. No official figures were given on the business size. Industry sources nonetheless peg the entire group’s business at Rs 40 crore.

For the record, Meridian is the creative agency for 9X and News X, and Orchard for 9XM.

Commenting on the appointment, Anthony Pettifer, Group Director-Brand and Communications, INX Media, said, “This completes the line-up of creative and media agencies. ZenithOptimedia has a strong team working with us across the three channels and we recognise their high level of commitment to our plans.”

ZenithOptimedia will leverage its scale and cutting edge tools to execute media strategies for ‘9X’, ‘News X’ and ‘9XM’.

INX Media Private Ltd is the owner of the general entertainment Hindi channel ‘9X’ and the youth music channel ‘9XM’. Its sister company INX News Private Ltd is the owner of ‘News X’, an English news channel.
