YouTube Leaderboard: The Best of May 2018

This month, smartphone ads dominated the YouTube leader-board, with Samsung, OnePlus and Apply all making the cut at 1st, 2nd and 6th spot on the most viewed ads, while ads around the NBA were also a popular on YouTube this month.

Here is a look at the top YouTube ads in the month of May 2018:

Samsung Galaxy: Moving On

Taking the first position is Samsung Galaxy's Moving On ad by creative agency Wieden+Kennedy and media agency Starcom. The ad 's catch phrase says "When your lagging phone does you wrong, you gotta move on"



OnePlus 6 - The Speed You Need

The ad for the new the OnePlus 6 by smartphone manufacturer OnePlus. The ad highlights the sleek new features of the new OnePlus 6 which gives users a smoother experience.



Tiffany & Co. — 2018 Spring Campaign: Believe In Dreams

The ad from Tiffany & Co. features American actress Elle Fanning in a modern day rendition of of 'Moon River' from the Audrey Hepburn classic- Breakfast at Tiffany's. The creative agency is Laird+Partners and the media agency is

LeBron James - The Tattoo

The new ad from Nike tells a story of ace basketball player LebRon James and how he got his Chosen 1 tattoo, using it to send the message to 'Always Believe''. The media agency is SapientRazorfish.



2018 NBA Finals - "Finally Mine"

The ad for the National Basketball Association (NBA) was 5th on the leaderboard, shows how winning the NBA Championship can be an incredibly emotional victory for those who play the game. The creative agency is Translation and the media agency is Spark Foundry.



iPhone X — Studio in your pocket — Apple

The ad is set against the song “La FĂȘte Noire” by Flavien Berger highlights the portrait lighting features of the new iPhone X. The creative agency is Apple, while the Media agency is OMD



Dave Coulier Rescued from Couch - GEICO

The latest ad from car insurance company GEICO takes on the brand's signature comical approach, featuring a couple recovering lost items digging through their couch including early '90s sitcom star, Dave Coulier from 'Full House'. The creative agency is The Martin Agency.



Speechless Thoughts with Charles Barkley - Closed Captioned

Mc Donald's Speechless Thoughts ad with former professional basketball star Charles Barkley will leave you speechless, but full of thoughts on their new quarter-pounder burgers. The ad's creative agency is We Are Unlimited and the media agency is OMD



Nintendo Switch - Play Together Anytime, Anywhere Extended Trailer

The ad from Japanese video game company Nintendo takes the 9th spot on leader-board. The creative agency is Leo Burnett.



Rescue Blue - LEGO Jurassic World - Pick Your Path

Capitalising on the on the new Jurassic World movie, Lego's new ad in the 10th position allows you to experience the animated interactive adventure in LEGO Jurassic World. The creative agency is Advance and the media agency is Initiative.
