Why Anita Kotwani was named 'Business Head of the Year' at Media Ace Awards

At the recently held exchange4media Group’s Media Ace Awards, Anita Kotwani, Leader, Client Leadership at Mindshare won the award for Business Head of the Year.

Commenting on her win, Anita Kotwani said, “I am extremely privileged and honoured to be recognised as the Business Leader of the Year and I think when one gets an award like this, it’s not just one individual who ends up doing it, it’s the entire team that rallies behind us that gets us up there.”

The Media Ace jury panel chose her for the individual award based on the strength of the body of work she has done within Mindshare.

Adlabs Imagica, Indian Super League, Housing, Diageo, Eros International, Novi Digital, Saavn, Practo, Bajaj Auto (Digital only) and Newshunt  are among the top client wins of Mindshare under the Kotwani’s leadership.

Commenting on the work she has done within the agency, Rahul Satoskar, Principal Partner, Mindshare Mumbai said, “It’s been over a decade that I have been working with Anita and the passion and commitment that she shows for work is exemplary. She raises the bar in servicing the client’s business and ensures that she motivates and guides teams to excel.”

She has been on the jury for media industry awards like Goafest and Emvies. As part of the media fraternity, she has been at the forefront to ensure that they improve the standards of award forums. She also has had the privilege of being on the jury for client awards. Kotwani has presented the media outlook for the country to investors from the international market.
