Ushak Kaal targets 20 % growth as it plans 15th birthday bash

Delhi-based advertising agency Ushak Kaal anticipates a growth of 20 per cent in its annual turnover of Rs 45 crore this fiscal. Founder & CEO Raaj Hiremath says the 15-year-old agency has diversified from being a creative shop to a complete communication solutions provider.

The agency has handled major clients like Maruti Udyog, Hindustan Motors, Amway, Dabur, Baidyanath, public sector undertakings and government agencies over the years. Delhi Development Authority (DDA), Indian Oil, Delhi Government, VSNL, Department of Posts and Oriental Bank of Commerce are among its major clients. Social campaigns on Population Control, AIDS awareness and child adoption have also been done by Ushak Kaal, Hiremath told exchange4media.

The agency at present provides clients with complete communication solutions, right from ideation to final production of the message. Specialized divisions in the agency look after different areas of advertising. Studio Vermilion handles retail, fashion and lifestyle. Morning Media addresses media buying and planning. Tandav Film Entertainment handles film and audio production, says Hiremath.

On successful completion of 15 years, Hiremath says the agency will be celebrating the event in a big way. There will be theme parties over the coming 15 months. The celebrations are being called ‘Ded Decade’, he said. The agency has won over 50 awards over the years including gold, silver and bronze at Abby.
