TBWA Anthem wins DAC Quiz Contest for third consecutive year

At the Delhi Advertising Club’s Advertising, Marketing and Media Quiz Contest, TBWA Anthem won the Golden Trophy for the third consecutive year, the three members of the team, Benny Thomas, Siddharth Prasad and Priyadarshini Narendra, were given Indian Airlines tickets. Chaitra Leo Burnett which was the runner-up got the Silver Trophy.

The quiz was anchored by Sunil Gupta, ex-Executive VP and GM, of HTA, and ex-COO of RK Swamy/BBDO. The other participating teams were from Lowe, RK Swamy/BBDO, JWT, O&M, Times School of Marketing, The Hive, G.P.I., Selvel Advertising, FMCC, Triton Communications, NTPC, Make My Trip.com, Mudra Communications, Hero Honda, The Times of India, and FCB Ulka.

The president of Delhi Advertising Club, V. K. Chopra, announced that the DAC Annual Awards for Excellence in Advertising wouldbeheld on April 1, 2005 at Hotel Ashoka. Dr. Vishwanath, one of the founder members and the first president of DAC, was given a standing ovation.
