Tata Tea on the look out for media partner for Rs 20 cr business

Tata Tea has also joined the bandwagon of Tata companies that have been on the look out for new communication partners. Tata Tea is presently looking for a media custodian. Industry sources peg the business in the region of Rs 20 crore. Being, a company from the Tata group AoR, the business presently is with The Media Edge.

The business is based out of Kolkata. The sources informed that four leading agencies are in the fray and that most of the presentations are already made and a decision is expected with in a day or so.

Other major subsidiary and associate companies of Tata Tea include The Tetley Group, which is headquartered in the UK and the owner of the international Brand, 'Tetley', Tata Coffee Limited, and Tata Tea Inc., USA along with Watawala Plantations Limited, Sri Lanka, which is a joint venture with significant interest in the tea estates, rubber and oil palm.
