Switzerland Tourism launches its 'InLoveWithSwitzerland' Campaign featuring Ranveer Singh

Switzerland Tourism has launched its 2017 summer campaign, ‘InLoveWithSwitzerland’, featuring brand ambassador Ranveer Singh. Known for its snowy summits, mighty mountains, dark gorges, deep-green forests, picturesque lakes, rushing waterfalls, and mystical moors, Switzerland is a paradise for nature-lovers. The India specific advertising campaign highlights the best experiences that one can have in Switzerland and captures Ranveer Singh’s love for the country, which he now calls his second home. The campaign has been developed and conceptualized by Switzerland Tourism and produced and directed by Navzar Eranee of Walkabout Films.

The 30 and 60 second TVC takes us through Ranveer’s summer trip in Switzerland, where he tries a hand at various sporty adventures such as Wakeboarding on Lake Zurich, Tobogganing on Mt. Pilatus and Ski Jumping at the Swiss Museum of Transport. We see Ranveer, an avid chocolate aficionado, give chocolate-making a try at the Funky Chocolate Club in Interlaken. The TVC also covers Ranveer, a complete football fanatic, visiting the FIFA World Football Museum in Zurich.

Talking about the campaign, the first Indian ambassador for Switzerland Tourism, Ranveer Singh said, “I love travelling and experiencing everything that a country has to offer and with Switzerland, that list never ends. People know Switzerland for its beauty and serenity, but it is also a wonderland for adventure enthusiasts such as myself. As you can see in the TVC, my trip to Switzerland showcases a whole new side of the country; a fun and adventurous side, complete with adrenaline filled activities, unique experiences, and picture perfect panoramic views! I would recommend the experience to everyone and encourage everyone to add Switzerland as a must visit destination on their bucket list.”

Claudio Zemp, Director, Switzerland Tourism India said, “Our new campaign hopes to show people that a holiday in Switzerland can be anything you want it to be. It does not matter which age group you belong to, cause in Switzerland, there is something for everyone. A holiday in Switzerland is all you need to get back to nature with fun filled activities and impeccable views.”

Ritu Sharma, Deputy Director, Switzerland Tourism India added, “Switzerland is a complete package for friends, families, honeymooners, or even solo tripping. With this campaign and with Ranveer on board, we would like to showcase the multifaceted holiday experience that is Switzerland.”

The ‘InLoveWithSwitzerland’ campaign plans to utilize national media channels such as TV mainlines, magazines, paid search, online display, and video audience buying, key digital sponsorships, social media platforms, and online television. The campaign debuts on National TV, Star Plus HD, and Life OK HD with a 60-second commercial and a 30-second commercial will be showcased across entertainment, movies, and news channels for a period of three months through the summer.
