Somany Tiles scouts for creative partner

Somany Tiles, one of the largest manufacturers of quality floor and wall tiles in India, is on the lookout for a new creative partner. It is believed that a few leading agencies are involved in the pitch. Noshe Oceanic is the incumbent agency.

No official confirmation was available at the time of filing the report. However, sources close to the development have confirmed the pitch call. It is believed that the account size is pegged at Rs 7 crore.

It may be recalled that Somany had appointed Noshe Oceanic as its creative agency in 2009. The key factors that had aided Somany’s agency selection process then were prompt servicing and outstanding creativity. The reason for change in its creative partner is not known.

The communication mix would include a 360 degree approach involving print, TVC, OOH, digital and below-the-line activities.

Founded in 1972, Somany Tiles claims to be the first Indian company to have both ISO 9002 and ISO 14001 certifications. The company claims to be at the forefront of introducing new and innovative products like widest range of square wall tiles and jute series.
