Sanjay Tandon steps down as COO, FCB Ulka

Sanjay Tandon has decided to move on from FCB Ulka after six years, confirm industry sources. This was his second stint with the company. Tandon joined Ulka in 1997 as Client Servicing Director and worked for seven years. In his second innings he joined as Senior Vice President in February 2009. He was elevated to the position of COO in September 2011.

According to industry sources, he is serving his notice period at present. Tandon was one of the key members of the group and was responsible for core business of the company.

In his career span of more than 22 years he has handled brands from different categories such as telecom, automobile, e-commerce, FMCG, healthcare, technology and lifestyle.

An alumni of IMT Ghaziabad, Tandon started his carrier with Lacoste as Marketing Manager. In his long career he has also worked with Bates Advertising for one year and seven months as VP and also with JWT as VP for two years.

His next destination is unknown as of now.
