Rediffusion DYR Bangalore bags ETA Star account in a multi-agency pitch

Rediffusion DYR (RDYR) has bagged the creative account of ETA Star Property Developers. ETA Star is the property development arm of well-known conglomerate ETA Ascon Group (Dubai) with a turnover of over $5 billion.

The multi-agency competitive pitch involved some of the leading advertising agencies, where the final round of pitches included JWT and SSC&B Lintas. The annual size of the account is undetermined, but budgets for the first project is expected to be approximately Rs 4 crore.

On winning the pitch, Ramesh Srivats, Vice President-South, RDYR, said, “Real Estate is a booming industry in Bangalore and we are excited about partnering ETA in changing the skyline of our city. You can look forward to some spectacular work from us on this project very soon.”

ETA Star was established with the prime objective of serving the burgeoning commercial opportunity in UAE’s freehold market. ETA Star property developers is poised to bring the best international practices in design, construction and execution to Bangalore, India.

According to Ashraf Buhari, Director, ETA Ascon, “Being new to the Indian market, we wanted to associate with an agency that combined stature with energy. Rediff’s understanding of the market, consumer and creative solutions that they presented is what made us decide to go with them.”

The ETA-Ascon Group is a multi-dimensional, diversified organisation. Established in 1973 as a joint venture with Al Ghurair Group of the UAE, ETA-Ascon has built an enviable reputation for quality, service and cost effective technological capability and maintained it through farsightedness and sheer professionalism.

Headquartered in Dubai, the Group network encompasses 23 branch and associate offices all over the globe. The Group’s consolidated sales for the year ending 2004 were in excess of $ 5 billion.
