Puma's #RunTheStreets campaign will inspire the creative entrepreneur in you

Global sportswear brand Puma in association with Homegrown unveiled the next chapter of the #RunTheStreets platform. Run the Streets, is a philosophy and a way of life that embodies the never quit spirit, with this Puma gives a voice to the next generation of creative entrepreneurs who represent the culture of hustle. With the concept of ‘Neighbourhood Takeover’ PUMA organised a marquee event that brought the RTS philosophy to life. The objective of the event was to give entrepreneurs and creatives minds a platform to express themselves and explore new creative terrains aided with masterclass, workshops and panels. The daylong event culminated into an after party at Summer House Café which was attended by likes of Divine, Mukti Mohan, Flying Machine (b-boy crew).

As innovators and pioneers of street culture, Puma is fostering a new era of hustlers and entrepreneurs, people who are constantly reinventing creative fields and challenging the set norms and status quos. RTS not only celebrates these hustlers but also build a collaborative space where hustlers can develop, hone, collaborate and exchange creative skills.

The chapter of Run The Streets brought together five tastemakers/hustlers who embody the very spirit of ‘hustle’- Mohammed Abood or DJ Mocity is a DJ, a programmer and promoter and currently runs India's first contemporary online community radio channel called; Priyanka Kochhar a female motorcycle enthusiast, racer and model; Prabh Deep, a Delhi based rapper who has brought the ‘underground’ hip hop community to the forefront; Abdul Shaikh, an international bboying champion who has overcome several physical hurdles; and Joan Domonique Rai, a fashion blogger, stylist and model from Darjeeling who has been pushing the boundaries with gender bending fashion.

Under the ‘Run The Streets’ platform Puma introduced the TSUGI footwear franchise. ‘TSUGI’ that translates to ‘NEXT’ in Japanese, is a fusion of modernity, technology and traditions, bringing a new wave of aesthetic to progressive streetwear.
