Prachar on expansion mode, adds business worth Rs 10 crore

Things are working out right for Prachar and the agency is continuing its streak of steady wins. Following closely on the heels of financial major Anand Rathi win, Prachar has added the businesses of Gini & Jony and Oxymberg to its client list - together adding Rs 10 crore to the agency’s billing. Prachar’s MD, Rajesh Jain, is happy about the fact that both these businesses have been with the agency at some time.

The incumbent on Gini & Jony was Motivator, while Oxymberg, too, was with one of the GroupM agencies. While the ad spend of Gini & Jony is around Rs 6 crore, Oxymberg spends close to Rs 4 crore. Speaking on these wins, Jain said, “Both have come back to us without any kind of pitch process and this really reiterates the confidence we have in our services and the value that we bring to our clients.”

Work has already commenced on both the businesses and Jain informed that some action could be expected soon from these advertisers. He is also quick to add that given the kind of clients that were with the agency already and the ones that had been recently added, Prachar had added 25 people in the last two months.

“We’ve had some key appointments like Satish Murthy, and we are still looking for more people. We take on more clients only when we are ready with the infrastructure to support them completely and hence, we are on an expansion mode – to ensure that we can give the best to our existing clients and also speak to more in days to come,” added Jain.
