PR and Communications Consultancy Archer Freres launched

Archer Frères Communications LLP, a full-service public relations (PR) and communications firm, launched recently. Formerly known as Seven Communications, the firm has received funding from industry veterans Sunil Gautam and Jaideep Shergill and will now operate as Archer Frères with a renewed focus and high-growth plans. The already strong team from Seven Communications, led by respected communications professional Priyanka Shetty, will move to the new firm with Shetty continuing to lead the business. Gautam and Shergill – who co-founded Pitchfork Partners in 2015 – will play a strategic role, mentoring the Archer Frères team and its clients.

Archer Frères is now part of the Pitchfork Partners family, spanning the full-service gamut – from planning to media relations and content across corporate communications and brand PR. The team comprises senior professionals with several years’ experience. Archer Frères clients comprise reputed businesses across sectors such as entertainment, consumer products, new-age startups and the social sector. They include BBC Worldwide, Mogae Media, Zeotap, Miracle Foundation, Engage4more, Laqshya Event IP.

As part of the investment plan, the Archer Frères team has moved into a new office in Mumbai and will hire best-in-class talent aggressively. While Pitchfork Partners and Archer Frères will operate separately, they will work closely since the services are complementary and offer great synergies for clients.

Gautam and Shergill stated: “We are excited to support the PR and communications ecosystem in India and privileged to mentor such a great team. After setting up Pitchfork Partners, we had been deliberating how to tap opportunities in the marketing services industry by supporting young entrepreneurs. We hope that Archer Frères is the first of many such ventures we can support, mentor and invest in.”
