The 12th edition of Pepper Creative Awards organised by Pepper Trust will be held on 27th April 2018 at Le Meridien Kochi at 6pm. The award function will be inaugurated by R Balakrishnan, popularly known R Balki, former Group Chairman, Lowe Lintas, and noted Indian filmmaker and screenwriter.
This year, the jury has received more than 650 entries from more than 75 agencies across South India in various categories including print, film, radio, OOH, digital and cyber. There are special categories for Kerala-based agencies on textile, real estate, hospitality, ayurveda etc. Around 125 metals and more than 45 finalists will be awarded at the ceremony.
Leading media houses such as Malalayala Manorama, Mathrubhumi, Asianet, MM TV, Club FM, Radio Mango; leading advertising agencies such as Stark, Banana Brand Works, Be Positive, Happy Creatives, RK Swamy BBDO, Draft FCB Ulka, Organic BPS, Team One, Hammer, Langoor, Buzzstop and ad filmmakers including Nirvana, Images, TVC Factory, Cat Entertainments and Black Box are some of the prominent participants.
The awards are given in categories such as Agency of the Year, Advertiser of the Year, Art Director of the Year, Copy Writer of the Year and Campaign of the Year.
Prathap Suthan, Co-founder and CCO, Bang In the Middle; K S Chakravarthy, Co-founder and CCO, Tidal 7 Brand and Digital; K V Sreedhar (Pops), founder and CCO, Hyper Collective; Raj Nair, CCO and CEO, Madison BMB; Meera Sarath, CEO and CCO, Tigress Tigress; Atul Kattukaran, Partner First December and renowned ad film maker, are the jury members.
The winners will be presented with Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards and certificates.
Prior to the award function, Pepper Trust will organize workshops on digital advertising and copywriting. The workshop for digital advertising will be conducted by Dinesh Swamy, Chief Creative Officer, LIQVD Asia, and the workshop for copywriting will be held by Prathap Suthan, Co-Founder & CCO, Bang in the Middle. The sessions will be held from 2.30 till 5.30 PM at the same venue. Those from the advertising & marketing fraternity and students from management and communication schools can participate in the sessions. Entry for the workshop is free.
