Overview of advertising by Education Sector in Print: AdEx study

The period Jan-May ‘07 saw a 17% rise in advertising by Education sector, over Jan-May ’06. Educational institutions garnered nearly 70% of ad volumes, while BPO/call centre training institutes saw the maximum growth in Jan-May 07. Publications from South zone contributed the maximum ad volumes, and it was observed that 61% advertising by Education sector took place in non-metro city newspapers.
