One Show Entertainment: Deadline for receiving entries extended to Jan 8, 2010

For One Club, 2009 has been a big year for branded entertainment, and One Show Entertainment continues to award the best in branded content from around the world. The deadline for receiving entries for One Show Entertainment has been extended to January 8, 2010.

The second annual One Show Entertainment ceremony will be held on February 17, 2010 at the American Cinematheque’s Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, CA. Gold, Silver and Bronze Pencils would be awarded to the best branded entertainment created during the past year.

This time, One Show Entertainment is introducing a category titled ‘Branded Applications’, which includes desktop and mobile apps for the iPhone, G2, Palm Pre, etc. While the other categories include television, film, online branded entertainment, music, and events and installations.

One Show Entertainment celebrates the year’s most surprising, creative, and innovative unions of advertising and entertainment in the field of branded content. The purpose of One Show Entertainment is to acknowledge and honour content that communicates a brand’s core values in television, film, gaming, and all other forms of branded entertainment beyond traditional product placement.
