One Show and One Show Design announce finalists; 37 Indian entries make it to the list

Finalists of the One Show and One Show Design have been announced. Twenty-one Indian entries have made it to the finalists’ list for One Show Awards, while the One Show Design finalists’ list features 16 Indian entries. The One Show Design and One Show awards ceremony will be held in New York on May 10 and May 13, respectively.

One Show Awards Finalists:

Seven entries from Leo Burnett India have made it to the finalists. They include the work on Proctor & Gamble Tides ‘Magttraction’ for magazine and Innovation in Advertising categories while Tide’s Stainbroidery Ink and Tide Stainbroidery entries have made it to Collateral: Posters, Collateral: Promotion and Innovation in Advertising categories.

Ogilvy India has a total of four entries among the finalists, which include their work on HUL’s Ponds in the Small Space Print – Campaign category; The Economist in Outdoor – Campaign; Vodafone Essar Ltd’s ‘Choking Lives’ in Public Service: Newspaper or Magazine category and Breakthrough Trust titled, ‘Domestic Violence’ in the Public Service: Television – Campaign.

McCann WorldGroup has two entries shortlisted – its work on Videocon Industries and Republic of Chicken in Newspapers: Full Page or Spread – Single and Experiential Advertising categories, respectively.

Aggi and Padhi’s venture Taproot India has two entries at The One show finalists – the work includes Transasia Papers and Nirma Ltd in the Newspapers: Full Page or Spread – Campaign.

Rediffusion Y&R India has two entries shortlisted for SeventyMM in the category of Collateral: Posters for their title work on ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘Avatar’.

Grey Worldwide has also made it to the One Show finalists with two entries – for Pantene and Ojus Medical Institute in the Outdoor – Campaign and Collateral (Brochures and Direct Mail) – Single categories, respectively.

Bates141 and Publicis Communications have one entry for each for their works on Steadtler and Croft Pens in the categories for Newspapers: Full Page or Spread – Campaign and Small Space Print – Single, respectively.

One Show Design Finalists:

JWT India made it to the One Show Design finalists list with three entries for its work on Atul Sharma for Corporate Identity – Campaign category, while Birla Global Finance and Maharashtra Janavikas Kendra made it for the Spatial Design – Single category.

Bates141, too, has three entries for One Show Design. They include – TC Ghai for Corporate Identity – Campaign category, India Antivirus for Direct Mail – Single category and Women’s Grievances Cell for the Public Service: Collateral - Single category.

Leo Burnett India has two entries for Proctor & Gamble in the Package Design – Campaign and Collateral – Promotion.

Ogilvy India, GreyWorldwide, Rediffusion Y&R, Dentsu Marcom, Meridian, Taproot, Contract and Karigari Design have one entry each in The One Show Design finalists list.

Ogilvy India scored a finalist for GlaxoSmithKline (Collateral - Posters, P.O.P and In-Store - Campaign), Grey Worldwide for Pantene (Outdoor - Campaign), Rediffusion Y&R for Kenwood (Collateral - Posters, P.O.P and in-Store - Single), Dentsu Marcom for WWF (Public Service: Collateral - Campaign), Meridian for (Public Service: Outdoor and Posters - Single), Taproot India for Transasia (Collateral - Posters, P.O.P and In-Store - Campaign), Contract Advertising for The Environment People (Public Service: Outdoor and Posters - Campaign) and Karigari Design for The Backpacker Company (Corporate Identity - Single).
