OMD India bags Danone media mandate; ac size upwards of Rs 12-15 cr

In the wake of a multi-agency pitch, OMD India has added the media mandate for Danone to its client portfolio. Danone, that has brands such as Evian, Activia, Actimel and Volvic, among others, is foraying into the Indian market.

OMD India officials refrained from offering any comments on the development. However, sources close to the development have confirmed that OMD India is handling the business, though it was not clear whether the business would be handled out of OMD’s Bangalore office or Delhi office. The account size is said to be in the vicinity of Rs 12-15 crore.

It may be recalled that last week, OMD India had won the Visa media AOR. Some of the other clients in OMD India’s kitty include Henkel India, Johnson & Johnson, Parle Agro, Ambuja Cement and Hewlett-Packard, among others.
