Ogilvy Mumbai ranks 7th in YoungGuns Top 10 agencies

YoungGuns has come out with its list of Top 10 rankings of the most awarded agencies of the past decade. The list recognises the best agencies in the world for emerging and young creatives. Ogilvy Mumbai is the only agency from India to make it to this list and is ranked seventh.

Talking about the recognition, Abhijit Avasthi, National Creative Director, Ogilvy India, said, “This is a great recognition for the work that we have been doing and the recognition will be conducive to the creative talent and culture that Ogilvy India stands for. This is a fabulous thing and will further encourage the young talent that’s in Ogilvy.”

Ogilvy Mumbai has been known for its creative output. Just recently, the agency had swept all major awards functions in India, where it bagged trophies for its work for Vodafone Zoozoos.

Colenso BBDO New Zealand has been named the No. 1 agency in the world for emerging and young creatives, topping the YoungGuns Top 10 rankings of the most awarded agencies of the past decade. The Top 10 Agencies ranking identifies the individual agencies that have produced the most awarded creative talent in the 10 years since the YoungGuns were founded.

Earlier in September 2010, YoungGuns has unveiled Top 10 advertising schools of the decade. Over the next month, YoungGuns will release a number of other Top 10 rankings on a specially designed website - - that celebrates the young talent and incubator organisations that have nurtured those creative aspirations across YoungGuns’ last 10 years.
