New US entertainment network E! inks deal with Zoom.

US based entertainment news and lifestyle programming channel E! has announced licensing deal with Bennett & Coleman’s entertainment channel Zoom. This announcement was made at Hong Kong convention CASBAA. Soon E! 's titles The E! true, Bollywood story, E! News Live, Dr. 90210, High prince of Fame, Celebrity Homes will begin their airings in India. This arrangement, E! believes, will pave way for its own branded channel for the Indian market.

Said a key official at E! , “ We eventually plan to launch a fully branded, 24 hour E! Channel in India, and the creation of E! branded block on Zoom is a significant first step in that direction and establishing our brand in this important territory.” Managing Director of E! International Christine Fellows negotiated the zoom deal for the network.

Based in Los Angles, E! Networks is a leading producer and Distributor of entertainment news and lifestyle programming. The company also operates E! Channel, 24 hour TV network dedicated to world of entertainment and the Style network.
