Mudra Connext appointed as integrated media agency for

Mudra Connext has been appointed as the integrated media AOR for, claimed to be India’s largest bus ticketing platform. The win comes following a multi-agency pitch.

Mudra Connext has recently won (in its earlier avatar as OMS) the media businesses of Hotspot Retail, Cera Sanitaryware, Zipcash and UEI Global. The cumulative value of these businesses is estimated to be well over Rs 500 million.

Giving the reason for choosing Mudra Connext, Haranath Lokanadham, President & CEO, Ticketvala, said, “We are happy to have found a team that’s willing to dig deep to come up with insights and solutions. Their professional maturity and in-depth understanding of the Indian travel market is very impressive.”

Commenting on the win, Chandradeep Mitra, President of Mudra Max, said, “We are really excited to partner an innovative client like Ticketvala. We made our promise of ‘business solutions through media’ come alive during our presentations to Ticketvala, and proposed a large number of unconventional yet relevant insight-based solutions for the client. We are now getting ready to create some path breaking solutions together.”

Mudra Connext West Head Mubin Khan said, “ is on the threshold of building this nascent category of e-ticketing for buses, and we are proud that they have chosen us to partner with them. In our meetings with them, we had emphasised that we would work as their business partners rather than just a media agency. That they chose us as partners only reinforces our belief that media agencies need to offer business solutions through media, rather than vanilla media solutions.”

Ticketvala is India’s largest bus ticket booking platform with over a million bus tickets already transacted through its reservation platform. One can book tickets through two sales channels – online booking and a toll free phone number. The Ticketvala network covers most major bus routes in India. It is internationally funded and positioned to become a major player in the emerging Indian travel market.
