Media spends worth Rs 800 crore up for grabs in India on the back of global pitches

The Indian market is feeling the impact of the plethora of on- going pitches, with respect to global pitches that are taking place. Johnson & Johnson, Mondelez, Volkswagen, Citibank  and Visa are some of the key pitches that impact India.

Industry insiders estimate around Rs 800 crore of media spends are up for grabs in India on the back of global pitches.

Some of the global brands that have initiated pitches over the last  few months include, Johnson & Johnson, Mondelez, Volkswagen, Citibank, Unilever, Coca-Cola, Proctor and Gamble, 21st Century Fox, Sony Pictures, Loreal, GSK and Corona an Visa.

Volkswagen’s media duties are handled by Mediacom, while MEC is the media agency on account for Citibank. Johnson and Johnson and Visa are handled by Omnicom, while Mondelez is handled by Madison Media who is not included in the global media review.
