M&C Saatchi adds Apollo Tyres, Stargaze Entertainment accounts to its kitty

M&C Saatchi India has recently won the Apollo Tyres’ commercial vehicle tyre business and Stargaze Entertainment accounts.

The agency will handle the creative campaign for Apollo Tyres’ truck and bus radial (TBR), truck and bus bias (TBB), light commercial vehicles (LCV) and off–the–road (OTR) businesses. These form a significant part of Apollo Tyres’ revenues, research, market leadership in India and future global journey.

Stargaze Entertainment is a film exhibition business funded by Capital18, which in turn is the private equity arm of Network18. Stargaze Entertainment plans to launch a chain of multiplexes under the brand Glitz Cinemas, including cinemas, food courts and entertainment zones across the country.

Speaking on the new wins, Kamal Oberoi, Chairman and Managing Director, M&C Saatchi India, said, “In the last three years that M&C Saatchi has been in India, we have strategically tried to work with the most dynamic of companies. Apollo Tyres and Glitz Cinemas present two exciting and fast-paced opportunities for us to expand into different categories of business.”
