LK Gupta quits redBus; joins Girnar Soft as CMO

LK Gupta, Chief Marketing Officer at redBus.in ( which was acquired last year by Naspers backed ibibo Group) has now joined Girnar Soft Pvt Ltd, owners of cardekho.com, bikedekho.com & pricedekho.com as Chief Marketing Officer.

Having spent over two decades in consumer products companies like Gillette, P&G and LG Electronics, this is the second e-commerce company that Gupta will be heading marketing for.

"E-commerce and digital are the future of marketing and value creation, and extremely essential for today's marketer to add to their skills and experience, whatever may be the stage of one's career. I'm confident that Girnar Soft is going to be one of the frontrunners in this space in the next few years and I am excited to be part of this amazing growth story to come," said  Gupta, on his new role.

Headquartered in Jaipur, Girnar Soft is a leader in online automobile research and lead generation business. It recently attracted funding from Sequoia Capital for its next stage of growth.
