Lafarge unveils TV campaign featuring brand ambassador MS Dhoni

Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s portfolio of brand associations is increasing. The latest to sign him as brand ambassador is cement manufacturer Lafarge India. A TVC conceptualised by O&M Kolkata has been launched, which addresses every man’s dream of owning his own house. Pushpendra Mishra of Flying Saucer has shot the commercial.

Commenting on the new ad, Uday Khanna, CEO Lafarge India Pvt Ltd, said, “The new TVC holds special importance for all of us at Lafarge because unlike other commercials, this ad in essence is based on reality. It is about a determined young man who dreams of building a home. It is significant as we were the first choice for Dhoni when he thought of bringing this dream to life. The ad and our association with Dhoni reinforce our belief in our sense of pride, determination and achievement.”

The ad showcases a young man’s dream to build a home, fulfilling his dreams and aspirations while building a secure future for his family. With India’s booming economic health, many aspiring home owners can now own their dream homes with ease. They strive and put the best of everything together to achieve that perfect abode. It is to ensure that they receive the best in strength and design that Lafarge India recently launched the new Concreto, which offers a variety of benefits to homeowners across India.

O&M couldn’t be contacted for comments at the time of filing this report.
