Kotak Bank finalises Starcom Worldwide as media AoR

Financial major Kotak Mahindra Group has completed the review of its media duties. The entire group, the duties of which were with Madison Media until now, has been assigned to Starcom Worldwide. The incumbent agency didn’t participate in this pitch. The other agencies in the final fight were Lodestar Universal and Initiative. The account size is pegged upwards of Rs 40 crore.

Kotak Mahindra Bank’s Karthi Marshan confirmed the development stating, “We took the call on this only earlier today.” Starcom officials interestingly were not even aware when called. The client however intends to inform the agency soon.

The Kotak Mahindra Group has various services in the domains of banking services, investment and insurance, mutual funds and others.
