JWT Mindset bags five awards at Pink Slip Awards

JWT Mindset put up a good show at the Pink Slip Awards, bagging five awards, including the Grand Prix. The Pink Slip Awards are presented annually by the Times Group for excellence in recruitment advertising, honouring advertising that builds strong recruitment brands and attracts talent, a key challenge for corporate India.

JWT Mindset’s work for its client, Broadridge Financial Solutions, got the agency the Grand Prix, besides awards in the Best Recruitment Campaign, Best Use of Headline, and Best Ad in Banking, Financial Services and Insurance categories. JWT Mindset also bagged an award in the Services category for its ad for EMRI, a non-profit emergency response service.

Reacting to the wins at the Pink Slip Awards, Anvar Alikhan, Creative Director, JWT Mindset, said, “In today’s hyper-competitive talent market, how do you create a distinctive positioning for a company? That was the challenge. We worked to understand the psychological buttons of our audience, and then we matched those with what Broadridge had to offer. The rest was easy.”

“Recruitment advertising has really become a competitive strength of JWT Mindset, and we look forward to leveraging this strength in the future,” said Anita Gupta, Senior Vice-President and Managing Partner, JWT, Chennai.

V Lakshmi Kant, CEO, Broadridge, said, “We are very proud of this. Mindset ran a series of intensive workshops for us to develop the communication strategy on which the campaign was created.”

The other agencies that won awards included Rezonant Design, which bagged two awards. M&M Connect Advertising, too, won two awards. Bates David Enterprise and RMG Connect won one award each.

The jury comprised leading names from advertising and human resources, including Josy Paul, National Creative Director, BBDO; Govind Shrikhande, CEO, Shopper’s Stop; Sashi Sinha; CEO, DraftFCB-Ulka; Mona Cheriyan, GM-Employee Engagement, i-Flex Solutions; Rubi Arya, AVP, Kingfisher Airways; and Agnello Dias, National Creative Director, JWT.
