Ikea picks WPP & Dentsu Aegis for its $444 million global media business

Ikea has chosen WPP and Dentsu Aegis Network to be its global partners for its whopping $444 million global media business.

According to international media reports, the global pitch at the holding company level was won by two of the incumbents.

Now agencies from WPP and Dentsu Aegis will compete for Ikea's business around the world whenever local markets do their independent reviews.

Ikea kicked off its global pitch in March this year and Publicis Groupe and Interpublic Group of Companies were also part of the pitch.
