IDBI Group floats pitch for creative and media duties

IDBI Group has called for a pitch for its creative and media duties. The IDBI Group includes IDBI Bank Ltd, IDBI Capital Management Services Ltd, IDBI Intech Ltd and IDBI Assets Management Ltd. The IDBI Bank floats tender every three years as per applicable government guidelines.

Three agencies will be appointed to carry out creative duties of the Group, whereas one media agency will be empanelled for carrying out the media duties. Initially, the chosen agencies will be empanelled for one year, but later it may be further extended twice for a period of one year each.

IDBI is looking for creative agencies to provide creative services for the brands, products and other communications in addition to consulting on marketing strategy for India-focused campaigns. The agencies should have experience in developing creatives for multiple media vehicles, including, TV, print, digital, mobile, out-of-home, and so on.

IDBI is looking for three categories of creative agencies: the first agency will take care of creative services for the IDBI Group Brand and its select product communications, along with creatives and strategies for some of the focused marketing campaigns and other communications. The second agency will provide creative services for select product communications, along with creatives and strategies for some of the focused marketing campaigns and other communications. The third agency will provide services to the IDBI Group for statutory/ notice ads, select simple product ads and some other creatives.

The media agency will be responsible for providing media planning, buying and releasing services, in addition to consulting on media strategy for India-focused campaigns. The agency should have experience with multiple media channels, including, TV, print, digital, mobile, out-of-home, etc.

The scope will include: developing cost-effective media plans based on the effective media selection; AFPs and other associated activities, including media innovations, in-film integration; BTL activities; marketing research and marketing analytics; end to end process management; research related to media planning; competition tracking; plan and propose campaigns and promotions, including media tie-up, product placement and others.

Bidding agencies need to submit their tender documents addressed to General Manager, Corporate Strategy & Planning Department (Press and Public Relations), IDBI Bank Ltd, IDBI Tower, WTC Complex, Cuffe Parade, Mumbai – 400005.

Last date for submission of bid documents by media agencies is 12.30 pm on April 7, 2011. Bids will be opened on the same day at 12.45 pm.

Last date for submission of bid documents for first and second categories of creative agencies is 11.00 am and 4.00 pm, respectively, on April 7, 2011. For third category of creative agency, the last date is 11.30 am on April 8, 2011.
