GroupM announces winners of Choreos Awards 2010

A packed house cheered on the winners of Choreos Awards 2010, the internal awards instituted by GroupM last year. The Awards recognise the work done by GroupM employees over the year. In all, 10 Choreos Awards were given away this year – six individual awards and four group awards – at a grand ceremony held in Delhi on September 14.

Both Jury and People’s Choice Awards were given away. In some of the categories, multiple awards were bestowed upon deserving employees of GroupM.

The Prestigious Choreographing Convergence was given away by Vikram Sakhuja, CEO, GroupM, South Asia, to Team Pepsi for their exemplary work. Breaking New Ground, Power of One, Band of Brothers, Walk the Talk, Great Place to Grow, Relentless Excellence, Brands Meet Consumers, People Meet Potential, Content meets Value and Choreographing Convergence, were the other categories covered in the course of the evening.

Speaking on the occasion, Sakhuja said that Choreos Awards were different from other awards as they not only celebrated human achievement, but human values too. This was, what he called, “the magic of choreographing convergence”.

The coulourful award ceremony began with a red carpet welcome for GroupM employees to Band of Brother cocktails and wrist bands. It was followed by series of enchanting orchestra and dance performances. The gala award ceremony and celebrations went on till late at night, celebrating the harmony of the GroupM family.
