Godrej Locking Solutions and Systems urges people to ‘Stay safe in an unsafe world’

Godrej Locking Solutions and Systems has recently launched its brand thematic film promoting its public awareness initiative #HowSafeAreYou. The brand last year unveiled a novel digital campaign #HowSafeAreYou to promote awareness on home safety by releasing a series of three videos that ‘unlocks the mind of a robber’

Keeping up with the public sentiments and response to this public awareness campaign, Godrej LocksS has planned to extend its narrative of making ‘home safety a proactive decision’ by releasing another thought provoking brand film.

Godrej Locks commissioned a consumer perception study that revealed a whopping 98.5% of respondents perceived home to be the safest place to be.

In this study video, consumers explained various ways by which they protect their homes and valuables. Respondents from varied backgrounds and demographics unequivocally stated that to secure their homes, they place their faith in locking systems.

The brand film attempts to encapsulate all these study findings and starts with a message that talks about war, global warming, environmental hazards, natural disasters, and man-made disasters. The video goes to say that in this unsafe world, at least our homes should be safe. It highlights the urgency w.r.t. the need to make ‘home safety’ a priority.

Commenting on the launch of the brand video, Mr. Shyam Motwani, Executive VP & Business Head, Godrej Locking Solutions and Systems said, “The brand video is an extension to our public awareness initiative to spread the word about home safety and to help people become proactive about safety. Over the years, crime has transformed and become more non-predictive and thieves have become more prepared with their modus operandi and having this information, we are trying our best to help inculcate small changes in their everyday behavior that could eventually help prevent crime. This video tries to create a sense of urgency that one needs to keep their homes safe.”

The video is part of a nation-wide initiative by Godrej Locking Solutions and Systems to promote awareness about home safety. The video was released on YouTube and prominent social media channels as this is the most powerful medium to reach out to the audience.
