Gatorade celebrates Neeraj Chopra’s CWG 2018 success in new digital film

Popular sports drink brand, Gatorade has released a new digital film to commemorate the victory of its brand ambassador and India’s star Javelin thrower, Neeraj Chopra. Neeraj added yet another feather to his hat by being the first-ever Indian to win gold in Javelin throw at the Commonwealth Games 2018. The nineteen-year-old, who has managed to create several national and international records in Javelin, made India proud with a winning throw of 86.47m.

Gatorade has been enabling Neeraj’s performance since he came on board as brand ambassador last year. Neeraj Chopra has been able to extensively understand and work on his hydration, training and match-day nutrition needs to power him through the Commonwealth Games 2018.

In line with Gatorade’s philosophy of ‘Sweat More’ powering athletes to strive harder, the digital film is a celebration of its brand ambassador, Neeraj Chopra’s success. The new film shows Neeraj attempt a javelin throw, and we see a game over prompt. Neeraj then refuels himself with the help of Gatorade and attempts to throw the Javelin yet again, this time around he emerges victorious with the best throw yet.
