Festival of Media Global 2014 to be held in Rome from April 6 to 8

The Festival of Media Global 2014 will move to a new location along with a new format. The event will be held in Rome, Italy from April 6 to 8, 2014. The Festival organisers are touting 2014 as a defining year for the future of the global media industry.

As the only global event focused on media innovation, creativity and new forms of trading and partnership, the Festival of Media Global 2014 will continue to bring the most senior delegation of brands, agencies and innovators.

The agenda for the 2014 edition of the Festival will focus on four core pillars – content, technology, business innovation and future worlds.

The event will feature pioneering case studies and new Awards categories in Content Creation, Consumer Research, Data Innovation and Retail Strategy.

The event will also introduce ‘Innovation Safari’, which will offer a chance to interact with some of the most exciting start-ups in advertising worldwide.

F-Connect, an enhanced networking programme with stronger meeting facilities, will ensure that the delegates present can make the most important connections.

As is known, the Festival of Media Global was launched in Venice in 2007. With ‘media’ at its heart, the Festival of Media draws together themes such as branded content, advertising and social media, free versus paid-for media models, the future of measurement, procurement in marketing and transformative consumer trends.

In 2009, the Festival of Media launched a Global Awards ceremony. Now in its seventh year, the Global Festival – being held in Rome, Italy for the first time – is firmly established on the international calendar.
