Ex-Paras Pharma man Darshan Patel starts his venture in the same space

Darshan Patel, who has been the co-promoter of Paras Pharma, has started a new entrepreneurial venture called the Vini Group. The Group will be based in Ahmedabad and will specialise in cosmetics, wellness and health science, and over-the-counter products.

Speaking on his new venture, Patel said, “For Vini Group, we undertook a qualitative and quantitative research for 5-6 months to understand consumer needs, because I firmly believe that insights are critical for product development.”

Patel had worked extensively with Triton Communications when he was in Paras Pharma, and he has roped in the agency to handle the brand communications for the Vini Group as well. “My comfort level with the team at Triton and the healthy working relationship that I share with them is definitely an added bonus,” he added.

Munawar Syed, Director, Triton Communications, added here, “Darshanbhai is clear of his objectives and understands the role of advertising in creating and building brands that have a rational and emotional connect. We are delighted to be back with him.”

During his tenure at Paras, Patel had handled segments such as Foods, Pharmaceuticals, Neutraceuticals and FMCG, and has worked on brands such as Moov, Ringguard, Set Wet, and Dermicool, among others.
