e4m Indian Media Agency Report: HUL, Reckitt, ITC, Pepsi & Airtel top TV advertisers

The exchange4media Indian Media Agency Report that measured the advertising spends for the year 2008 in the measured media of print, television and radio for the top 500 advertiser product categories shows Hindustan Unilever topping the list of top television advertisers.

Next in line, at a considerable distance, is Reckitt Benckiser (India) Ltd. ITC Ltd follows in the No. 3 position with PepsiCo taking the fourth spot. Telecom major Bharti Airtel Ltd is the fifth largest advertiser on television, followed by Coca-Cola India Ltd.

Procter & Gamble products combined take the seventh position, while Colgate Palmolive India Ltd is placed eighth. Nokia Corporation takes up the No. 9 spot with Johnson & Johnson Ltd as the tenth largest spender.

The exchange4media Indian Media Agency Report also has details on the top advertisers of radio and print amongst other information available in the report. This report is an annual initiative starting with the 2008 data.
