DDB Mudra bags Rs 20-cr IL&FS Investsmart account

DDB Mudra has been assigned the creative and media duties of IL&FS Investsmart following a two-stage multi-agency pitch. From an initial round of 15 agencies, five had made it to the final round. Other agencies in fray included Leo Burnett, Ambience, Rediffusion DYR and Lowe. The account size is pegged at around Rs 20 crore.

Commenting on the win, J Mani, President, DDB Mudra, said, “In the last couple of years, the action in the broking industry has increased manifold. We are looking to create strong brand differentiation for IL&FS Investsmart in a category that is seemingly getting commoditised.”

IL&FS Investsmart was set up by IL&FS in 1997 and offers investment management and advisory services, equity and debt broking, and commodity broking among other financial services.

DDB Mudra, a Mudra Group agency, is a full service outfit that counts Reliance ADAG, J&J, and Hindustan Unilever among its clients.
