Consumer electronics major Sony India initiates media pitch

Consumer electronics major Sony India has initiated a media pitch, confirm industry sources. The pitch process will be handled out of Delhi and is, in its initial stage as of now.

Carat from the Dentsu Aegis Network is the current agency on the account.

Carat won the account on the back of a multi-agency pitch in March 2015 from IPG’s Initiative .

Sony India is said to hold a media review for its media duties every two years and Carat’s contract with the consumer electronics major is said to be till the end of March, which has led to the pitch process.
