Congress party completes 125 years; scouts for creative and media partners

As the Indian National Congress party completes 125th year of its existence in 2010, it has grand plans to mark the occasion by organising programmes at various levels. The party has called a creative and media pitch for this and the account size is pegged at Rs 50 crore.

It is learnt that the agencies taking part in the pitch include JWT India, Crayons, Percept and K&V Media. The presentations are slated to take place next week.

The communication will focus on print, TV, OOH, radio and Internet media.

Meanwhile, a 19-member team has been constituted under the chairpersonship of Congress chief Sonia Gandhi to oversee the year-long celebrations that will commence on December 28, 2009.
