Cochin Ad Club’s creative award ‘Pepper 2008’ invites entries

The annual creative award function of Cochin Advertising Club – ‘Pepper 2008’ – which was thrown open to agencies across South India in 2007, is back. The awards function will be held on March 28 at the Le Meridien Resort and Convention Centre in Kochi. The Club has called for entries from agencies for the Awards and has set March 7 as the last date for receiving entries.

The jury panel for Pepper 2008 includes Prathap Suthan, National Creative Director, Cheil Worldwide Southwest Asia; Josy Paul, Chairman and National Creative Director, BBDO India; and Raj Kurup, Chairman & NCD, Creative Land Asia.

The categories for Pepper 2008 awards include television, press, radio, collateral, outdoor, packaging and photography. Besides these categories, the Club has created a special set of Kerala-pecific awards in the jewellery, real estate, textile, hospitality and Ayurveda sectors this year.

“It will be for the first time ever that any award ceremony in South India will see these luminaries of advertising come together on a single platform. With many more categories added this year, and specific categories for the local Kerala market, we look forward to an even more overwhelming response. Our vision is to make Pepper a benchmark event every ad man and woman would look forward to year after year,” said P K Natesh, President, Cochin Advertising Club.
