Channel7 assigns creative duties to Brand David

Channel7, the Hindi news channel from the TV18 Group and Jagran TV, has appointed Brand David to handle its creative duties. The agency has been given the responsibility to create and implement a creative strategy for Channel7, which will be in tune with the channel’s baseline “Khabar Har Kimat Par” and reflect its leadership in Hindi news journalism.

Dilip Venkatraman, Director Marketing, TV18 Group, said, “Brand David has been partnering with CNN-IBN on the creative front and we want to recreate the same magic for Channel7 too. They are in sync with our creative strategy and we look forward to a long term and fulfilling association with them.”

He further said, “We will adopt a premium 360-degree approach for Channel 7 under which we will be working towards positioning, brand campaign and communication, etc.”

Explaining the reason for giving the business to David, Venkatraman said, “There was a major comfort level with them and we were assured that they would create the same magic in the Hindi channel market.”

Josy Paul, Chairman and National Creative Director, Brand David, said, “We are excited to extend the CNN-IBN association to Channel7. It will be a challenging task, but we are confident that we will be able to deliver.”

Founded in 2000, Brand David is the smallest advertising agency on the WPP network. It has offices in Mumbai, Chennai and New Delhi.
