: Cannes Lions 2007 : 20 Indian entries in Press shortlist, 14 in Outdoor shortlist

Even as every one is waiting to know whether or not India has any wins in the Promo and Direct Lions category, the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival 2007 has already announced the shortlists for four categories. In Press, India has 20 entries in the shortlist, in Outdoor there are 14 entries, in Media Lions there are seven entries, while in Radio, there are five entries in the shortlist.

In the Press Category, McCann Erickson Mumbai has seven entries in the shortlist – three entries for Kansai Nerolac, two for Cocco’s Café and two more for Globe Movers and Packers. JWT Mumbai has four entries – one for Kellogg’s India and three for Cliff Collection. Grey Worldwide Mumbai has three for advertiser Travel Corporation India.

O&M Mumbai has three entries for the India Association for Promotion of Adoption and Child Welfare, while sister agency Meridian Communications has two for WWF/Bangalore Bias. Leo Burnett Mumbai has one for Fiat India.

In the Outdoor Category, O&M has six entries – O&M Delhi has one for Glaxosmithkline and two for Sanctuary, O&M Mumbai has one for India Association for Promotion of Adoption and Child Welfare and two for WWF. Leo Burnett has two entries in the shortlist – one for Fiat India from Mumbai and one for Mainland Jungle Lodge from Delhi. Rediffusion DY&R Mumbai also has two entries – Xerox and one more for Green Grower Garden Centre.

Grey Worldwide has one for Travel Corporation of India, McCann Erickson Mumbai has one for Heal Foundation India, Euro RSCG Mumbai has one for Bank of Baroda and Lowe Mumbai has one for Cancer Patients Aid Association.

In Media Lions, O&M has three entries in the shortlist – Bangalore for Hutch and Rohan Builders and Developers, and an entry for advertiser Hutchison Telecom from Mumbai. Rediffusion DY&R Bangalore/Outdoor Advertising Professionals Bangalore has one for Zydus Cadilla. JWT Mumbai has one for Monte Carlo, and Leo Burnett Mumbai has one for Coca-Cola. Madison Communication has one entry for Godrej in the shortlist.

In the Radio Category, O&M has two entries – Mumbai for Hindustan Pencils and Kolkata for Children’s Little Theatre. Ambience Publicis Mumbai has one for Bullzi, Leo Burnett has one for Anti Female Foeticide campaign, and Mudra Communications Delhi has one for Big 92.7 FM.
