BEI Confluence Group wins new business worth Rs 20 crore

In the last two months, since the strategic collaboration between the BEI Group, a US-based global communications network, and Confluence Communication, a New Delhi HQ national advertising agency, the BEI Confluence Group has won four significant new businesses in its New Delhi office.

Confirming the news to exchange4media, Tapas Gupta, Managing Director, BEI Confluence, said, “We won these four businesses in competitive pitches which includes project of Key Clinics launched by PSI, Pioneer Footwear, Hindware and JK White Cements’ ‘Wall Putty’ brand.”

BEI has won the prestigious project of Key Clinics launched by PSI (Population Services International), a leading Washington-based international NGO. BEI Group won this account in a competitive pitch with Contract, O&M and Percept. BEI Group has been entrusted to handle the creative duties on this brand and the Group is also involved in a major assignment on merchandising on an all India basis for the brand. The account in the first year is estimated to be around Rs 8 crore.

BEI has also won Pioneer brand of footwear recently launched by Pioneer Impex Inc. This account has moved to BEI Confluence from Brand Curry. The Pioneer brand is expected to go national shortly and the estimated spend on the account is Rs 4 crore. While BEI Confluence has been assigned to handle the creative duties on the account, Media Pros continues to handle the media account.

India’s largest selling sanitaryware brand Hindware from HSIL, has recently moved to BEI Confluence from Madison. The agency group has been assigned the total brand account including the creative and media. The estimated multi-media spend on this brand is expected to be in the region of Rs 5 crore. The account has moved from Madison, New Delhi.

JK White Cements have recently assigned their ‘Wall Putty’ brand to BEI Confluence. This business is worth about Rs. 2 to 3 crore and the creative duties have been assigned to BEI Confluence and media to Media Pros.

“These recent acquisitions will shore up the billing of BEI Confluence in the current year which is expected to touch the Rs 70 crore mark by the end of 2005-06 in its New Delhi office. On an all India basis, BEI Confluence is expected to reach its target of Rs 100 crore by the end of 2005-06’, said Gupta.
